Today you will be welcomed by the member of our team and transported to hotel in Arusha,  where you can refresh and later be briefed by your guide about the activities in following days. Dinner and overnight at the selected hotel.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Today, after breakfast, we will venture toward Lake Manyara National Park. This park is nestled between the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the East, and the lake Manyara to the West. It is a home for baboons, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, giraffes, other varieties of primates, many types of antelope and the elusive tree climbing lions which makes it great fun and very exciting safari. Lake Manyara is also known for more than 400 bird species, lush vegetation and a large alkaline lake, which is the seasonal breeding ground for large colonies of flamingos. Due to its diversity of habitats, this park is a home to variety of wildlife that includes different types of mammals, reptiles and birds. One of the park attractions is a 400m canopy walk that starts with a short board-walk and gradually rises from ground level up through the Manyara forest. Dinner and overnight at your selected accommodation.

Day 3: Lake Natron

After early breakfast, we will venture toward Lake Natron. Standing at the lowest point of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Natron is the most unique place on the planet. Flocked by the swarms of flamingos and other water birds, this remote area is also home to a large Maasai community. Here you can go for a hike up the Ngare Sero River, which flows in to the Lake Natron, and enjoy the contrast to the barren surroundings, with the range of beautiful waterfalls. There is a possibility to climb Ol Doinyo Lengai, the Mountain of Gods, as Maasai people call it. This is quite demanding trek, because there is no shade on the mountain, and the whole trek happens within one day (usually around 12 hours to the top and back). The terrain underfoot consists of rough scree, lava, and volcanic ash, but once you reach the summit you can explore the two craters with caution, as one of them is still active.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National park

Today, after breakfast, we will venture toward Serengeti National Park. This is, without a doubt, the most famous wildlife reserve in all of Africa. Despite the fact that its name comes from Maasai word for endless plains, Serengeti offers variety of different habitats and landscapes. It is a complex ecosystem with areas of acacia forests, river vegetation, soda lakes and granite mountains. The most prominent spectacle hosted in this park is certainly the Great migration, when over 2 million wildebeests and zebras start their journey from Maasai Mara in Kenya toward Southern Serengeti in search for green pastures.  Serengeti is a home to variety of animal species, of which you can certainly see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, ostrich, cheetah, hyena, leopard, lion, jackal and vultures. The park also have recorder over 500 species of birds, with several of them endemic to this area. Picnic lunch will be served along the way, and afternoon game drive is expected, before you return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day Serengeti

Today you will enjoy the full day of game drives in Serengeti. Picnic lunch will be served at the appropriate place, and later in the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning, after breakfast, you will check out and our journey starts toward Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Conservation area, with its crown jewel Ngorongoro Crater, is the wildlife area with spectacular features. The crater itself is a home to 30.000 animals, and it is the only place in Africa where you can see the Big 5 almost certainly. Ngorongoro is one of the few places where you can see endangered African black rhino. This area is not official national park, therefore Maasai people live here without any boundaries, and you can meet them in their own element. At the crater floor you can also enjoy seeing large groups of lions, and at the lake Magadi big herds of water buffalos and hippos at their own pool, while you enjoy your picnic lunch. The bird life is also boasting with more than 500 species recorded, thousands of greater and lesser flamingos, sand-pipers, storks, and off course the vultures.
